Our church is situated in the First Garden City of Letchworth in the County of Hertfordshire, and within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster.

Times of Services, etc:-

Sunday Masses:    8.00am, 9.30am, 11.00am.  Mass in Polish - 12.30pm.
Weekday Masses: Monday to Friday - 9.30am.
Saturday Masses:  9.30am, followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament & Benediction.
                              7.00pm (anticipated Mass for Sunday).
Holy Days of Obligation Masses: 9.30am and 7.30pm.
Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confessions): Saturday, 10.00 - 10.30am, and 6.00 - 6.30pm.

Monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at Baldock Catholic Church on every
first Wednesday of the month, from after the 10.00am Mass (approx 10.30am) until 8.00pm.  (Benediction at 7.30pm).

Hospital Chaplaincy Volunteers Training.  The Chaplaincy Team are running a training course for Chaplaincy Volunteer Visitorsfor the Lister and QEII hospitals.  The course begins on Tuesday 12 June for five weeks, two hours per week.  If you are interested, or would like to know more about what we do, please contact 01438-285518 or mobile 07884-187463.

RCIA - The Rite of Adult Initiation into the Catholic Church.  We are now preparing for the coming year, and all who are interested in learning more about Catholic belief and practice are invited to contact our Parish Priest. The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) have sent us some leaflets
entitled "Don't let politicians destroy real marriage".  They are in the church porch and we are asked to distribute them.  Also on this theme:-

Marriage - What Can I Do?  Archbishop Vincent Nichols writes:  "Today we need to do all we can to cherish and foster marriage and ensure that the true meaning of marriage is not lost for future generations, and we need to do this without losing pastoral support for those of same-sex orientation."  There are two documents in the church porch - one deals with the Government consultation, and the other is a petition from the Coalition for Marriage which you are invited to sign.

Progresso - "Rio + 20" is a major world summit on sustainable development taking place in June.  Your support is requested and there are posters and cards in the church porch.

14 May  -  7.30pm at David's Bookshop. Eastcheap.  John Julius Norwich talks about 
               and signs his new book, "The Popes: A History".  There is a poster in
               the church porch.

16 May  -  At 8.00pm.  Baldock Catholic Church.  Praise, Worship and Prayer for
               Healing evening.  Please see Newsletter.

13 - 18 June - Westminster Diocesan Pilgrimage to the 50th International Eucharistic
            Congress in Dublin, under the leadership of Archbishop Vincent Nichols.
            Leaflets and booking forms are available in the church porch.

23 June -  KISS Summer Football Tournament.  A 7-a-side football tournament is taking
            place at 2-5pm at the Baldock Arena to raise money for KISS.  Please see 
            details in the Newsletter.
